Badrinath and Pujara to lead Challenger Trophy Squads

The Selectors have today named India A and India B Squads for the upcoming NKP Salve Challenger Trophy. S Badrinath will lead India A while Cheteshwar Pujara will lead India B in the three-team tournament.

The Selectors have today named India A and India B Squads for the upcoming NKP Salve Challenger Trophy. S Badrinath will lead India A while Cheteshwar Pujara will lead India B in the three-team tournament. Last season’s Vijay Hazare Trophy winner – Bengal will be the third team of the Challenger Trophy which is scheduled to begin on the 29th of this month at Rajkot.

This season’s Challenger Trophy will not feature some of the best players of the domestic circuit as some of them are off to New Zealand to play for India A. The Selectors have given opportunity to two Under-19 cricketers – Baba Aparajith and Sandeep Sharma.
